Set & Reset Your Password
Your Rexolia password is chosen through a secure link sent to your email, no one (not even an administrator) sets it for you. This happens in two situations:
- First-time set: When a new user is onboarded, they receive an email with a one-time link to create their password.
- Reset: When an existing user forgets their password, they request a fresh link from the Login screen.
Both cases end at the same "set your new password" page, which is why they're covered together here.
Set your password (first login)
When an administrator adds you as a new user, your account is created without a usable password. Instead, you receive a "Welcome onboard to Rexolia" email with a Create Password button.
Follow the link before signing in until you set a password, your account can't be used to log in.
- Open the "Welcome onboard to Rexolia" email. If you don't see it, check your spam folder.
- Click the Create Password button (or copy the link into your browser).
- Enter your New Password.
- Re-enter it in Confirm New Password.
- Click Set Password.
- You're returned to the Login screen with the message "Your password has been set successfully!", sign in with your new password.
The link in the email is one-time use. If it's expired or already used, your administrator can onboard you again to send a fresh one.
Reset a forgotten password
If you can't log in because you've forgotten your password, you can request a reset link yourself, you don't need an administrator.
-
Go to the Login screen for your business.
-
Click Forgot Password ? → Reset Password. (It's below the password field.)
-
On the Reset Password page, enter the Email tied to your account.
-
Click Reset Password.
-
You're taken to an Email Sent screen. If an account with that email exists, a reset email has been sent, check your inbox and spam folder.
The reset link sent by email is valid for 24 hours and expires afterwards. If it expires, simply request a new one.
- Open the Reset Your Password email and click Reset Password (or copy the link into your browser). If you didn't request it, you can safely ignore the email.
- Enter your New Password, then repeat it in Confirm New Password.
- Click Set Password.
- You're returned to Login with the message "Your password has been set successfully!", sign in with your new password.
- Use a password you don't reuse elsewhere, and keep it private. Nobody else can see or recover it.
- If the reset link doesn't work, it may already have been used or expired. Request a new reset from the Login screen.
- Links open a page that says "This password reset link is invalid or has already been used. Please request a new one." when they can't be used again.
